This page is kind of a melting pot for a number of topics. First, it's a central place to access all of our family pictures. It's where you will be able to find pictures of our family as it has grown from just Aubrey and I in 2001, to the addition of Noah Oliver on June 6th 2003, the arrival of Tess Eliza on January 25th, 2005, and Tate Brigham on January 18th 2007.

Secondly, this is where you can find all of Aubrey's newsletters. This tradition started back when Aubrey was a little girl, and lived a lot of her life overseas, in Germany and the Netherlands. Her father was in the Air Force, and the distance from the extended family gave them incentive to maintain a family newsletter to keep everyone in the loop. This stuck in their family, and even though they live closer to everyone now, they continue to distribute a new newsletter every few months.

We are now in a similar situation. Though we aren't oceans away from our families, we are quite a distance. Aubrey has started making family newsletters, and we think this is a great tradition for us as well. She has been doing a great job of getting a new newsletter up every other month, and you can access all of them on this page. We chose to distribute the newsletter in PDF form so that everyone would be able to view it, and it also brought the file size down by a factor of 10.

Another thing that Aubrey enjoys working on is a couple of scrapbooks. She has one for Noah and one for Tess and we've grabbed on to start for Tate someday. She started doing this back when I was in school and working for a small company with a division called "Lifeprints." They gave us one for Noah for free with the understanding that we would scan all the pages in and put them on their website as an example. It looked great, and Aubrey enjoyed it so much that we bought enough so that we will be covered for all of our children. (We had to do this because they later went out of business, and she wanted to make one for each of our possible kids.) Even though they aren't around anymore to advertise for, we will eventually have the pages scanned in again and available to look at from here. Hasn't happened yet though.
